After being in Maastricht, the Dutch conquest of Bhutan 1912 continues northwards silently having CoffeeYou as its last base camp. Caroline and Peter were from the first moment supportive to the project and the exhibition proposal we made. The vast space, centric location, its lively activity and the great coffees couldn’t be more appealing to us!! This time has been easier to mount all the illustrations and photographs given the experience on the previous attempt.
At Coffee You the three main walls have been divided into two areas. The two sections closer to the main entrance have an organised and structured gallery of the whole Polaroid prints. On the last third of the white wall, the vintage frames with the drawings mix with the white wallpaper. Opposite to them the customised cabinet keeps the project’s secrets: the polaroid prints, Polacards and the new cushions collection. The collection of five items has been already sold out in the first three days but replenishment is ongoing!!
The big enlighted space of CoffeeYou will display the artworks until the 15th of September 2013.
