We are happy that we are still in Eindhoven, a dynamic city that since the very beginning has supported the project. This has led to a second exhibition in Eindhoven (third in total) in combination to an art performance will take place while the Dutch Design Week 2013 (DDW13). After the exciting Coffee You exhibition near by Design Academy of Eindhoven this time we will be at Pinkie, a spendid delicatessen patisserie just next to the Piet Hein Eek. Esteve packed all the artworks at the end of the second exhibition so Gamze will mount some of artworks at Pinkie and will be there during the whole DDW13.
What is next,we will tell you soon 🙂 We are very excited that hundreds people will visit our exhibition during ten days. Being an interior designer and illustrator, Gamze is used to create artworks for interiors such as restaurants and hotels. Gamze will display her art diaries on the glass windows embracing a naïve concept. For the Pinkie’s installation, though, she will create daily sketches about her Bhutan memories and future dreams… The windows will represent the scenes of the main Bhutanese characters and landscapes in this modern tale. The long-kept secret drawings will colour the sunlight through the glasses until sunset. She says ‘Everyday a new story; every morning a new life for the future’
The limited edition of the cushion collection already made available on the second exhibition will be present at Pinkie during the DDW13 amongst some other surprises more yet to be discovered.
See you there!!
Bhutan 1912‘s third exhibition will take place in Pinkie (Halvemaanstraat 18a. 5651BP Eindhoven) from the 19th until the 27th of October 2013.
