Being part of the Dutch Design Week 2013 is such an honor. DDW is a melting pot of trendsetters and experimenters with endless activites all across Eindhoven. Being the third exhibition of Bhutan 1912, there was a wish to move a little bit forward than just displaying the illustration and polaroid artworks at Pinkie.
During the DDW, then, while people are visiting the store or just having a relaxing cup of coffee with pastries they can see Gamze performing illustrations on the windows and have some interesting conversation with her about the project itself and the motivations behind her art. These temporary drawings follow the theme initiated a year ago while in Bhutan and embrace of kindness and spirituality the venue.
To welcome everyone in a very sweetie way, a huge bright yellow cloud splashes happiness over blue painted waffles, stroopwafles and pancakes.
Pinkie is hosting a daily artistic performance of Gamze until the 27th of October 2013.
